Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 30 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Moovier, including our mobile apps and the moovier.com website (together, the “Service”).
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The service
Moovier is a personal review diary for movies, TV shows, podcasts, YouTube videos, and other things you watch or listen to. For movies and TV shows you can search TMDB-sourced titles; for podcasts, YouTube, and other entries you type in the details yourself. Either way, you record your own ratings, written reviews, optional links, and a “watch again” flag. Moovier is currently free to use, with no paid plans, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
Your account
You can create an account with an email and password, or by signing in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account, and for providing accurate information when you register. Let us know if you ever suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Your content
Your reviews, ratings, notes, links, and “watch again” flags (“Your Content”) remain yours. By submitting Your Content you grant us a license to store, back up, and display it back to you as part of operating the Service. You're responsible for what you post, and agree not to submit content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or is abusive, hateful, or otherwise harmful.
Bug reports & feedback
The app lets you send us bug reports, ideas, and other feedback. Please do not include confidential information or anyone else’s personal data in a report. Anything you send is not treated as confidential, and you agree we may use it to fix, operate, and improve the Service — including building a feature you suggested — without any obligation to you, and without payment, credit, or an obligation to reply. You keep any rights you already hold in what you sent us; we simply do not owe you anything for acting on it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse or attempt to disrupt the Service, access it through unauthorized or automated means (such as scraping or bots) beyond normal personal use, circumvent rate limits or security controls, impersonate another person, or use the Service to violate any applicable law.
Third-party services
Movie and TV data and artwork are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) — this only applies when you add a movie or TV review; podcast, YouTube, and other entries are entered directly by you and never looked up against TMDB or any other third party. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple are available as optional ways to authenticate; if you use either, your sign-in is also subject to that provider's own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these third-party services.
Availability & changes
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and without any uptime or availability guarantee. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we may revise these Terms from time to time — we'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
Termination
You can permanently delete your account, along with all associated data, at any time from the app's account settings — this cannot be undone. Any bug reports or feedback you sent are kept, but are no longer linked to you; see our Privacy Policy for details. We may also suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for any loss of data, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Croatia, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
